I am involved in writing, community service, language, and health care clubs, but recently ( im a senior) I developed an interest in filming. Would it be worth it to start a film club? Would I seem like a person who picks something up and doesn’t go through with it?
There’s nothing wrong with exploring new interests! My kid couldn’t get into a history class she wanted, and wound up in a geography class junior year instead. The way it was taught inspired her to get involved in sustainability as a senior.
Try to explain what inspired your interest and think about other ways of doing film besides starting a club, as that does look like it might be something designed to puff up your college app.
If you want to start a film club then by all means go for.it. if you don’t want to put it on your college application that is fine.
