The Extra Stuff
These are just my honest opinions, and they might vary greatly since this is all relative
Teacher Recommendation: Decent (Haven’t seen it)
Guidance Recommendation: Decent to Pretty Good (Haven’t seen it)
Common Application Essay: Average to Decent
Supplemental Essay: Decent to Pretty Good (Definitely not the best Cornell will read though)

Seems pretty good…

uw gpa could be higher I think.

@TskDbx: yea i realize that, but its a little too late now – thanks for your input though

anyone else wanna chance : (

Pretty standard stats for a bioengineering student. Good that you have a lot of research, but your other extracurriculars are really run-of-the-mill. Package your application to focus on the research and make a big deal out of it. Make your supplemental essay good and make it stick out to the readers somehow.

@Aseyelum: thanks for your input! yea, ill work hard on my essays : )

anyone else?

well im going into AEM but i do think Cornell puts emphasis on the personal touch: essays, recs make a difference. make yourself stand out and find teachers who know you well enough that they can express your passion
