^agree with exactly what Jersey said.

bottom line is that a younger age is not looked on favorably by the adcom

cba knows what they are talking about. what he is saying is true.

Due to your extraordinary circumstance, you would need to somehow justify your low GPA and lack of extracurricular activities somewhere in your application. Bear in mind that most admissions officers at Ivy League Universities such as Yale do not base their decisions off sympathy; they seek the most well-rounded, talented students who have potential and would prove beneficial for the institution.

You can try to build an application for Yale, but of course, do not be disappointed if you are rejected or deferred based on your low scores.

I’m sorry, but you have close to zero chance.

OP:
It strikes me that you might be an excellent candidate for an early entrance program such as [USC Resident Honors Program](http://college.usc.edu/resident-honors-program/)

Here is a more comprehensive list of such programs: [Early Entrance to College](Early Entrance to College)

Sorry, but chances are super slim. Like someone mentioned earlier, the admission committee won’t be sympathetic to younger applicants, so I’m really not seeing it ):

Ok so I’m not the only young guy here.I graduated high school when I was 14. Right now I’m at college full time and I am looking for transfer to yale. My only flaws so far are that most of my high school record is homeschool(not all of it, it has some charter and virtual school on there), and my ACT scores weren’t so high last time I took the ACT(I recently retook it, and I am waiting for my scores).

@Descartesz Thank you for the links! I have looked into those programs, but until I can come up with a way to pay for all that it doesn’t seem very likely…

anothernight,
I don’t know if anyone has posted this suggestion but just email the admissions office asking if you will be at a disadvantage in the admissions process because of your age. It is my opinion that you will not; I think they’ll evaluate you the same as everyone else. I will turn 18 at some point freshman year, but i was 16 when I began senior year and I’ll be a member of the 2014 class. CC is great sometimes, but it can be misleading.
