Will I Still be Able to Retake?

I just took the SAT II's and I was wondering if I still had a chance to retake them before admissions next year. I am currently a junior, and I didn't feel too confident about my performance today.

I also took the ACT a while ago (I got a 31), and am planning on retaking it next Saturday. I feel that it is unrealistic for me to study very much for this exam either, since I have finals in school next week as well. If I take the exam again next fall, will I still be able to apply early action?

So can I retake the SAT II and ACT before early actions admissions or will I most likely have to wait to submit my app during regular decision? Thanks for your help.

I think early action/decision lets you submit SAT/ACT test scores up to the October testing date. Check with the specific college to make sure.

There are a small number of colleges, Mich, Ill, and Gtech, for which the Oct ACT may be too late for early action. Otherwise, the Sep and Oct Act and Oct SAT will be good for early action or decision, and many of those colleges, such as all the ivies, even accept the Nov SAT for early action or decision.

Thanks a lot! I was planning on applying to several Ivies/Reach schools early action, just because they are my top choice. It’s very reassuring knowing that I can have another chance to take these tests.
