Will I still be penalized for bad grades from over 10 years ago?

Back when i was a teen, i didn’t know what i wanted to do so i just took random classes and also worked alot so i ended up doing poorly and was put on probation. This university i attended has been 12 years since i last attended. Then I attended a community collage back in 2005 and again it’s over 10 years and i got married, got pregnant and couldn’t focus so ending up having D’s and F’s which i am not proud of since I graduated high school with honors and straight As. I now know what I want to do but want to start fresh with no past grades or any history. Can this be done if it’s been over 10 years since I last attended school?

The reason I want to start fresh is because the nursing program is very demanding and they don’t like repeated courses or bad grades. I dont want my past to hurt my future because I was young and stupid. Please let me know if anyone knows.

Unfortunately, you cannot start fresh.

For CA CC courses, you should be able to retake classes in which you received s D or F, and then with an A, B, or C grade, use the academic renewal process to remove the original grades.

There are some nursing programs that require you to have some courses be taken within the last 5 years.
