<p>It depends on how well you do in IB. It can be difficult to maintain a good unweighted GPA, which is what most colleges take. It also depends on what college you want to get into. In the end, nothing is certain with college admissions. Don’t go into IB thinking that you’ll get into college just because you did the program, because as an IB senior, I have seen some amazing students get rejected to their top schools. </p>
<p>it sorta helps with college admissions, but it definitely helps with doing well once you are in a college. it trains you for a fas pace curriculum, academic stress, and reasoning skills. it over-preps you. </p>
