I'm really aiming to go to either University of Miami, or University of Southern California. I was wondering if me being a Full IB diploma Candidate and still maintaining a 3.8 UW gpa is an advantage when applying to these schools or any schools, and assuming my standardized Tests scores are great, and My Ec's are great.

Miami is a definite winner. Florida schools have a predilection for the IB program, and award scholarships to diploma holders.
Oh wow, Thanks for that man

IB programs are highly regarded. They are viewed as very rigorous by colleges, a definite advantage for you. I encourage you to carry through and take the BAC exam at the end of the program. Make that clear in your application.

There are many threads on CC regarding the IB and the relative value compared to other programs. I encourage you to do a search on CC.
