Will intended major on app effect acceptance?

So i understand that gsu is well known for their business majors, but i heard a lot of people got accepted from intending to go into business.

I for one put (neuroscience) on the app in early action, and they are still reviewing it for some reason while all my friends already got accepted (who put a bussiness major for the intended). I also have higher scores and well prepared app set for them, i just don't understand why im still being reviewed? and becoming nervous, that i might get deferred to regular admission. Should i be worried and try harder for the regular round? or should i just wait and see what happens?

GSU does not consider majors in admissions decisions.

GSU’s admissions procedure isn’t very competitive. If you have the 3.3 high school GPA and around a 1080 SAT score, you SHOULD be admitted. GSU’s admissions average haven’t changed for nearly fifteen years(although applications have increases, as Georgia’s population has grown). Relatively few elite universities consider intended major during the admissions process - even Georgia Tech doesn’t do this.

You should be admitted! Just keep waiting! Best of luck.

If your intended major is English, may I guide you away considering you don’t know the difference between affect and effect

Your grammar isn’t too hot either.

At least I know the difference between ‘affect’ and ‘effect’

Sry I was just in a hurry to write something. Please dont judge me. Lol
