<p>Just to explain about them, I don't think listing them gives them credit enough. I won't do it for all ECs (that would be a book!) but maybe the 4-5 I'm most passionate about, being Science Olympiad, Math League, Environmental Club, School Newspaper and perhaps the District Media Center.</p>
<p>Just a paragraph explaining what we did throughout the years I was there, etc. </p>

<p>Most apps have a place where you can put in stuff about yourself that they didn't ask for. I'm sure they wouldn't mind you putting that in there.</p>
<p>Go for it, especially if you are applying to small schools. I sent all the colleges I applied to (LACs) a 4-page summary with a paragraph each about 18 of my activities. I heard nothing but positive comments from the adcoms I talked to. The worst that can happen is for them to throw it away. At best, it is a way to give meaning to what might otherwise seem to be a "laundry list" of activities.</p>
