Will it be too late?

Anyone? I’m really nervous and anxious for answers. I wanna know so badly if UT-Austin will accept my app late. Anyone know if they will if It’s a week late?

Oh, no, silly! UTD’s deadline is next July! They’d be crazy to have such an early deadline!

I don’t think UT has much leniency… according to the official Be a Longhorn site, it states that late applications will be considered if space remains available after all on-time applications are received.

But seeing as this year’s no. of applicants was a record… eee. Very slim chances. Maybe try just to be on the safe side but frankly, I think you’re pretty much SOL. ): Next time, ALWAYS pay attention to deadlines in case they change, or at least try and apply earlier.

Best of luck to you though!

ViggyRam,

Sorry, I don’t have answers to your questions. I simply wish you luck and hope they consider your application.

But I have a question for you. If you didn’t go to school in TX, how did you establish TX residency? Just curious.

Thanks

Have I also missed TAMU’s scholarship deadline date? I think it is Dec. 1st but I could be wrong? redhotsrock said I could get lots of money from TAMU but I don’t know if I can if I’ve missed the date…

…keeps getting worse

Yes, unfortunately A&M’s scholarship deadline has also passed.

^So, I shouldn’t bother filling out the scholarship part of ApplyTexas or should I just in case of a miracle?

Scholarships & Financial Aid offers academic scholarships for incoming freshmen. Students apply for all university level scholarships through the ApplyTexas application. Please note the scholarship deadline (December 1, 2010) is earlier than the regular admission deadline.

Yeah, I don’t think it’ll do you any good. I’m sorry.

Geez, I can’t believe I messed up so badly! Thanks for the help though.
