Hi, I just derped and forgot to request, and just requested via Naviance for my school's guidance office to send my school report, transcript, and all other things that the school is responsible for, to two colleges. Both deadlines are in a few days (November 1st and November 4th), so will they be at least postmarked in time for the deadlines? I read that admissions offices are usually reasonably flexible with school/teacher material. Should I be worried?

Those documents are typically sent electronically, so they get to the college in a push of a button. However, someone in your guidance office is going to have to take some time to fill out the school report with your information and then send it on its way with the transcript. You should bring in some nice baked goods for your guidance staff as a mea culpa for dropping this on them at the last minute.

For school materials the deadline is generally a postmarked-by date, not a received-by date, so as long as they go in the mail by then you’ll be fine.
