However, my guidance counselor sent my ED Cornell application to BC, and my EA BC application to Cornell. So now BC knows that they're not my first choice. Do you think this will play any role in the admissions process?</p>
<p>probably will, but probably not as much as you'd think. I mean, a lot of colleges probably know you're not their first choice even if you don't show or tell them. I think that if you're a strong applicant, you can still get into BC. But your counselor must be really incompetent.</p>

<p>Yes. If it's not SCEA and your ED school allows. ED schools that do allow that require applicants to immediately withdraw the EA app if they are accepted to the ED school.</p>
