bump (10 char.)

Tony, what do you plan on switching to?

physiological sciences -> global studies

mmmm yeah good question..

id like to know as well

isn't that one of the fluffy majors? changed your mind about med school?

Do you know what the average GPA for global studies is?

^ why is it "fluffy"

huh? Med skool doesnt require me to major in a science. I'm still minorin in public health

^ this is just an informational question, how does public health relate to med school? does it help? contains premed classes?

Personally, I'm minoring in Public Health because I'm interested in that area. I wouldn't mind getting a MPH someday. I'm not sure if it contains pre-med classes or not.

Just note that there's one statistic (think Stanford?) where 90% of the incomming class was pre-med and only 10% ended up staying on the medical school route.

yeah, i have the same question as tonyLTH12... I'm down for pre business econ, and I'm planning to transfer/double major in design media arts. So do we tell them before orientation?

I am not sure if we'll be separated into groups by major at Orientation, but the school of architecture & arts already held an open house where it brought in all the students majoring in the same college and split them up by majors (design media arts, art, photography, etc). So, I don't really think they are going to do it at orientation.

Ah, nevermind. My friend (skyline) just told me that we are grouped together with our majors.

I'm stuck going to the 102 orientation because that was one out of three dates available to me.

What if our major is undeclared...?

I think if you're undeclared, they let you choose any time to go to orientation.

Because I chose design as my major, I got restricted down to three slots.

There's a restriction dependent upon majors? Does it only apply to the Design major?

I'm not sure, but my friend and I were filling out our orientation reservation at the same time. She got all of the dates available, while I got only 3 (102, 105, 109). Her major was biochem. I don't think the restrictions happen to all the majors, just a few.

Wow...that's really...strange..x.x
