<p>I plan on taking AP Comp Sci A next year.</p>

<p>However I haven't taken the 2 prerequisites. Will this hurt me? Or will a school even allow me to take the class?</p>

<p>Are you taking it at your high school, or a local CC?</p>

<p>If it’s at a CC, just contact the dean of the department and ask him/her to waive the prereqs for you.</p>
