will law school look at senior year undergrad grades?

will law school look at senior year undergrad grades? or would they only look at part of my senior year's grades? im on the quarter system btw.

this is, assuming that i enter law school straight out of undergrad.

If applying to the fall semester following your senior year, it works similarly to college admission. You start applying in Fall of senior year and application deadlines usually run to February or March. For those following regular admission, you will likely need to submit whatever grades exist such as mid-year by February or March. For Early Decision, the school may rely on grades only through junior year although it may ask for mid-term grades, or in your situation, first quarter grades. For law schools following rolling admission, they go by the transcript you submit when you apply although they may ask for an update on a student by student basis before admitting.

It depends...

Many law schools allow you to send in your materials around September or October. Given that schools have rolling admissions, I would recommend this. You send in whatever grades you have up until that point.

Now, schools will give out decisions between December and August. Many, unless you are a clear admit or a clear reject, will want to see senior year grades - whatever is available at that point - to help make a decision. Some may ask to send grades along as they become available. Depends on the school.
