Will Legacy get me in???

I have legacy and relatives working on campus, in addition to strong academics and EC. What are my chances of getting accepted to Notre Dame? I applied EA.

SAT- Math II (770), Biology (770)
GPA- 3.95 unweighted
Class rank- NA at my highschool
EC- Varsity Synchronized Swimming captain 2 years(state champion 2015), marching band section leader, concert band member, volunteer at Secondhand hounds animal rescue, volunteer on Native American reservation in the summer, math tutor, involved in clubs (Young Liberals club, Youth for Social Justice, She’s the First)
Current classes:
AP computer science
AP psychology
Multi variable Calculus (not offered AP )
Film and Literature
Spanish V
Letters of rec: pretty strong I believe, one is written by an old Calc teacher who is a ND '08 alum
As I stated earlier, I do have legacy (both of my parents attended) and have cousins working on campus security. Please let me know what you think my chance are! Notre Dame is my dream school and I really hope I get that acceptance letter in two weeks!!!

you’ll probably get in because of legacy and relatives, but your act and GPA is really good, too.

Never forget that if you get in it will be because of your own accomplishments/merits. Legacy status can provide a bump, but only if you are a qualified candidate in your own right. Good luck.
