Will low GPA impact chances of being finalist?

<p>i'm in my junior year and so far, my GPA from frosh and soph year is a 3.37 uw. i currently am taking five AP's and have all A's so by the end of junior year, my gpa should be a 3.58 uw. i am pretty sure that i will be a finalist since all my practice psats were outstanding. </p>

<p>when they judge to see whether you'll be a finalist or not, will they see your gpa from junior, sophomore and freshmen year or just sophomore and freshmen? also, is a 3.58 gpa enough?</p>

<p>If you were to become a semifinalist, they’ll look at your grades from 9-11. If you have a 3.58 unweighted, that’s generally good enough.</p>

<p>It does effect it, but you are perfectly fine.</p>

<p>You need consistently high grades in grades 9-11. If you had a lot of C’s, or any D’s, you could be disqualified.</p>
