Will low SATs hurt my chances even with a high ACT?

I'm applying to many selective universities (Harvard, Princeton, Brown PLME, etc.) I have great ACT scores but I didn't do so well on the SAT for whatever reason. Will these low scores hurt me even though colleges say they only take the highest score? I'm planning on retaking the SATs anyway but I just wanted some input.

ACT:
35 (36E/35S/34M/33R)
34 w/ Writing (34E/35S/35M/33R/10W)

SAT:
2030 (680V/720M/630W)

SAT II's:
770 Biology M
760 Math II
740 Chem

Thanks!

Your SAT scores i believe can be translated into your ACT scores. But from the figures i’ve seen before, it seems that if your SAT score is tranlated it would be around 31-33.

You have an outstanding ACT score and some university only recquire the SAT and SAT2s or just the ACT with writing.
You need to dig in on that/

That’s encouraging =)
Thanks!

you don’t have to report your SAT scores; just report your ACT

Scores are fine… but that’s only part of the equation. Good (Great) GPA, ECs, Recs and Killer essays round out your ap!

you have to report everything if you want them to see SAT IIs.

they’ll only look at your highest score.

I have a similar question. If I have a 2200 SAT and I get a 34/35 on my ACT, would I have a better shot at the Ivies?
