<p>Marketing, contrary to popular belief, is not a BS degree and can lead to some very high-paying positions straight out of undergrad, especially if you go to a school with a renowned marketing program.</p>
<p>so will majoring in marketing be better…but im bad at math, ive been taking marketing classes through out high school, and I really enjoy them, however im terrible at math and im scared that classes like accounting and stats will hold me back, im going to fiu in miami</p>

<p>I think an advertising degree will limit your options, opposed to a Marketing degree. Apparently its hard to get a well paying job in the Marketing field. If you can get a good job then your set.</p>

<p>You need to realize that classes like accounting and statistics are infinitely less difficult than classes in pure mathematics and science as far as numbers are concerned. Accounting is difficult because it involves a good deal of memorization; it’s similar to Law in this respect. You need to know correct terminology and when to use it.</p>
