Will Middle College help me get into a good college?

I am a junior in high school but I am taking a middle college program that allows me to take college courses at the local community college full time while still taking the classes necessary to graduate high school. Basically, I'm already a college student because I take all my classes on the college campus without ever going back to my high school to take classes.
My gpa since freshmen year averages about 3.85-4.0 and I have not taken the SAT yet but I did really well on the PSAT last year. So far, I am almost done with my first semester as a "college student" and I have straight A's. I lack great extracurriculars but I am a commited officer for my Global Student Club at my college. I did a few clubs in high school and some community service but overall, not outstanding. I really want to go to UC Berkely, UC Santa Cruz, University of SF, UW Seattle and other state colleges. I am also a Native American minority. Does Middle College make me any more impressive than some high schoolers because I can succeed in actual college classes? I'm worried because some high schoolers are crazy impressive and I'm just me. Please help. Thanks

Dual enrollment (or middle college as you call it) is considered a rigorous curriculum which good universities use in considering acceptance. Your high grades there will certainly help you. As far as being NA, if you are enrolled in a tribe it will help at those colleges that consider race/ethnicity. Bottom line, continue to apply yourself in school and you should have a good college landing spot.

If you read “The Gatekeepers”, which is still relevant, even if it is now a little dated, you will discover that the one URM colleges have real trouble finding is academically qualified Native Americans. The fact that you are taking such a challenging curriculum can only help your case, though I would advise that being a Native American might actually be more useful at elite private colleges than at state schools.

Being a high-performing Native American and enrolled in college classes will definitely help you at all the Top 25 universities and LACs. As MrMom said above, it’ll really help you at private universities, although you should also apply to UC’s of course.
Remember to take the SAT or the ACT this Spring, along with SATSubjects in your 2-3 best subjects (MAy or June junior year are typically the best time to take those tests.)
Good luck and don’t forget to come back to post when you start the college quest in earnest!
