Hi~ I’m a sophomore and I’m taking a BYU language course that isn’t offered at my school and I will do three years of Arabic there. It’s UC verified but I’m worried other colleges won’t accept it. In addition I’m taking Spanish at my highschool for 2 years. But I want to show universities I took three years of a foreign language?
The only thing you can do is call colleges and find out. BYU has a good reputation for foreign languages, they are an accredited school, and provide their own transcript so I don’t see why colleges wouldn’t accept it as high school credit.
