I am currently at a private university in North Carolina with a GPA of (according to my NC State transfer evaluation) 3.42. I was admitted to transfer for the spring semester 2014; however, I have a major concern.

My first year of college I didn't receive a grade lower than a B- (hence the 3.42 GPA), but this semester I ended up with A C C- D+ and I am very scared NC State will rescind my admission.

According to the acceptance letter I got:

"Final acceptance is contingent on your maintaining a level of academic performance that is equal to or better than your previous academic record."

As you can see my grades have declined very much this semester and are obviously below the academic performance equal to or better than my previous record. However, the business school requires a 3.0 GPA and even with those grades I will still have above the 3.0 requirement.

My main concern is whether NC State rescinds admission 1) based on lower grades than previous or 2) not meeting the admission requirements for the school I applied to.

I want to make clear that I will still meet all the admission requirements (3.0 GPA, B in Calculus, B in college english) for the business school.

What are the chances that my acceptance is rescinded? Anybody have previous experience with this at NC State? Thanks for the help in advance.
