I took the following AP's in high school:
Bio: 4
Psych: 5
Physics B: 3
American Government: 4
English Literature: 3
Statistics: 3
Calculus AB: 4

As you can see, some of those scores at pretty horrendous (statistics!! english!! I have no idea how that happened). I took bio and psych my junior year, and the next 5 my senior year. Do you guys think my poor scores will hurt my chances at all?
I know AP scores aren't really considered a huge factor, but I'm worrying that they will taint the overall picture that the adcoms form of me.

Um, nervousmommy...when you send in the AP score..you have to send them all at once.

nuveen:
For the AP scores..did you use any of the credits? I mean, did any of the test scores let you slide by not taking some classes? If not, then you must have retaken the classes--and if you've done well in them, you should be good. I hope that makes sense at all lol.

Your scores aren't horrendous. I mean, they're passing at the very least, and if you've already done coursework in some of your lower AP subjects then whatever negative effect they might have will be cancelled out. Most colleges allow you to self-report AP scores on the application anyway. The college will only see your official grade report and those 3's AFTER you're accepted.

ohcomely is correct. Most colleges do not require you to send an official AP score report as part of the application process!!! You can just self-report your better scores.

sofa are you aware of colleges that require official reports pre-admission?

Withholding scores on grade reports costs 10 dollars, per grade, per college. But I didn't realize I just self report on the application.
The question is, should I self-report them?

And sofa, I haven't used any of the credits yet. I've retaken, or am in the process of retaking many of them. I was basically going by Haas's credit policy, for which only Bio, Physics, and Gov't passed me out of requirements. I've retaken Psych, am taking a 3 quarter english sequence, and am retaking statistics and calculus right now. I know the AP scores won't matter in Haas admission (I'm not even sure about applying there anymore anyway), but I'm applying to a couple privates right now for sophomore standing.
