Transferring there this Fall. I have 89 transferable semester units (need 60) and have completed all my major and GE/IGETC courses. I listed 4 classes on my application that I would be taking for spring which are not required for anything.

I never registered for one of them and was told it would be fine. Plan on dropping one with a W because the class is too hard.

First time I emailed asking them about not taking one of the classes a month ago
"Thank you for being proactive about your education. Be sure to consult with your counselor to make sure you have satisfied all your requirements to not have your application withdrawn. If you have satisfied all the requirements, not taking one of the planned courses listed on your application will not cause your application to be rescinded. We look forward to having you as a student."

I am assuming the same thing applies to the course I want to drop with a W because I already have all required courses completed.
