Will my college application be rescinded?

I’m in my second semester of senior year and I’m currently failing ap statistics. I passed first semester with a B, but second semester is straight up killing me and I’m afraid that I will get rescinded from CSUS for failing a class. This is my 4th year of math and I have a cumulative GPA of 3.6 if that helps with anything.

You need to go to your counselor at your school and ask him or her to intervene with the college on your behalf. The general rule is that D or F grades can lead to you being rescinded. Do whatever you can to avoid failing. Go for extra help, see the teacher, get a private tutor. Senioritis isn’t real, so stay on top of your grades. No point in messing up when you’re so close to the finish line.

Do what @Lindagaf says. In college you have to advocate for yourself when you need help. Start this now. It’s only February right? I don’t think your school ends this weekend. You still have a few months to go. Make the most of it to pass your class. Go to your teacher today. Yes, today and let them know your not sure what’s going on but you need help now. Don’t bring up the college thing. You need help to understand what you don’t understand. Rare to get a b then start failing a class also. This is your kick in the rear to get going. So… Get off CC and ask for help today.

what @Lindagaf said. Your best option is to do everything you can to pass the class. The possibility of being rescinded is very real.

When your GC contacts admissions maybe they’ll say you will still be ok, but one outcome is they won’t decide until they review your final transcript this summer. In such a case you need to start working on a plan B in case they rescind you, likely attending a CC in your area. Don’t wait until after you hear to apply to a CC because registration opens much earlier and the classes you want may be filled. For example the Sacramento CC district begins registration for this Fall in the middle of May according to Enroll in Classes | Los Rios Community College District

I want to add that you should be in your GC’s office today. In the best case your admission will not be in jeopardy, but if it is perhaps something can be worked out with CSUS such as taking a makeup class over the summer. If you just wait and hope possibilities like this will be lost.
