Will my credits transfer as a freshman transfer?

I am applying as a freshman transfer to a few schools, meaning I will be admitted based off my high school records. I am somewhat confused about whether or not this means I will be able to transfer the credits I will earn at the end of this semester. I emailed one of the schools, but all I got was a statement that vaguely resembled an answer, and a link to a credit equivalency chart. I emailed them again, but I need to figure this out somewhat quickly.

I am currently in a school out of state, and want to transfer back to my home state (GA). If the credits won't transfer, I plan to drop the 2 core classes I am taking (English and math) so I can take advantage full of the classes that interest me, while I am still here. Would this be a bad move? I can take the same English and Math classes once I transfer, with a guarantee that I will awarded usable credit. The English here has a 70% fail rate, and I'm already starting to struggle. The other classes I am taking are very interesting, and want to be able to focus on them, because even if I can't transfer the credits, I would still benefit from what I have learned.

Thanks!

It’s going to depend upon the schools, but yes, they should transfer. The school will evaluate your transcript and decide what courses they want to take. There’s a good chance of them taking all of them, depending on the courses.
