Will my ECs let me "stand out?"

I'm a curious high school junior who's starting to delve deeper into the wonderful (ha!) world of college admissions.

Anyway, I've heard that after you have a certain combination of test scores/GPA/etc, your ecs/essays/recs become very important, and that this is really true at MIT.

So, what I'm wondering is will my ECs let me stand out in the admissions process?

ECs:

I've really been a sciencey guy, so...here are my science related ECs:

-1st Place, Tri-Valley Science and Engineering Fair (Medicine and Health division): "The Effect of UV-B Radiation on the White Blood Cell Count of M.Musculus"
-1st Place, San Ramon Valley Business Roundtable (Science and Technology division): "(same proj. as above)"
- Last summer I did a program called the Breakthrough Collaborative, where high school and college students become teachers in specific subjects, and the students are low-income 7th or 8th graders (basically summer school for kids who want to be there, and teachers who are college/high school students)
I was a Physics teacher, and showed leadership by being chosen by the other faculty members to represent the Breakthrough Site in a yearly meeting/speech to local community/business leaders.
-This summer I plan on being a science teacher again, but this year I'm probably going to be the Department Chair of the science department

Business-y stuff. Yeah, I like business too :)
-Cofounder/Vice-President/Tutor of Results Tutoring Group
-Founder/CEO of Results Music Group (high school teachers, middle/elementary school kids learning music)
-Yearbook staff (9th), Academics Section Editor (10th), Student Life Editor (11th), will be EIC in 12th. Over $300,000/yr business
- Took a Business English course at a local CC early last summer

Other
- Building up a photography portfolio, because I love photography (in an art/photo class this year)
-Will be entering a photo competition...teacher says I'm a pretty good contender
- Entering several essay contests...because they're fun

Thanks to whoever has read thus far...and thanks for your help. I know us curious juniors can be quite annoying, but thanks for dealing with us sometimes.

heh, that was remarkably well written for an annoying junior :D

relax about ECs...don't take any just to get you into college. I'd say youre normal to good...keep it up and you should be fine
