Will my F be counted even if I replaced it with an A?

<p>In my college there is an F replacement policy where an F can be replaced with a grade of C or better if the class is retaken. I messed up my first semester of college and got an F in a Calculus class. I retook it this summer and got an A. I know that my grades will go though the LSAC before I apply to law school and I was wondering if they will count the F or only the A since I took the exact same course twice.
Also, my GPA for freshman year is 3.73 but if the F was still counted it would be 3.32</p>
