Will my German score be royally screwed?

I signed up for three Subject Tests back on November 1st: Bio, US History, and Literature. After taking Bio and US History, I decided that I wanted to give the German one a shot. I saw that it only offered German with Listening, though, so I, along with two other kids, asked the proctor if there was any way we could do Reading Only. She left the room, came back, and told us that we should just skip over the Listening part and also code for the Reading Only German test. So I did this, but now, on collegeboard.com, it says that I took the German with Listening test.

Argh!! Does this mean my scores are going to be screwed up? Did the proctor tell us wrong?

Well I guess you'll find out tomorrow.

If it doesn't work in your favor, I would definetly bring the issue up with a Collegeboard representative and explain your situation. I'm not sure if there's anything they could do, but it's definetly worth a shot.

I remember asking this same question when I took it... my proctor definitely said no, especially since it's German with Listening, and Listening is a subscore of the entire score. But, like StigmataMartyr said, I would just bring it up with Collegeboard and you could probably just cancel that score (opposed to cancelling all three) with no consequences.

Wait, your proctor said no to being able to take it without listening? Greeeeeaat. -_- Looks like I'll be doing more testing come December. There's no way my US History or Bio are high enough to send in.

Yeah, sorry. There's no German test in December either :(

Oh, I don't care if I can't retake the German one. I just want another Subject Test, like Lit or something, to balance it out. If CB is annoying and won't let me cancel, would I be able to explain the low score to colleges?

yeah I don't think you'd have a problem explaining it
