My high school gpa is about a 91 because of a bad freshman year and poor electives, and I was generally immature as a hs freshman/ sophomore. My ACT composite is a 30 and I have excellent extracurriculars/ volunteer hours/ work experience/ reccomendations, but I will apply as a transfer from college because my college GPA (from the community college classes that I have already taken is a 3.94. If I attend a SUNY (New Paltz) school and participate in many extracurriculars/ volunteering oppurtunities, do I still have a chance at Columbia or will they reject me because of my HS gpa? Also, I plan to apply for political science and spanish literature. Thanks for all the help!
