Will my internship enhance my college application?

Last summer, I began a 10-week internship with a top-100 university performing research for a conference for around a thousand students, which will be utilizing my research (related to global affairs and pressing world conflicts) as a discussion topic.

During this time, I interacted with several prominent figures in this field, and presented my findings to a committee.

Will this look good on a college application? My definition of "good," however, is that it would help me get into universities like UCSD, UC Berkeley, UCLA, top private schools and liberal arts colleges, etc. (I have regional awards, several volunteering activities, performed internationally, 8 AP classes, 2 honors classes, 2 community college classes, and have a 4.4/3.8 cumulative GPA, with a 2260 SAT).

Thx!

Student 1: research internship for summer
Student 2: sat on thumb for summer

um, yep, I think it will enhance
