I was accepted into the faculty of agriculture and environmental sciences with pretty great grades. However, this last semester, I received the worst luck, suffering an autoimmune issue, having both grandfathers in ICU, my and my 12 year old dog and great grandmother passing away, all of this in a span of 2 months. I ended up with 2 D’s, 3 C’s, and a B. I have already sent in my CAQ, paid for residency, etc. I’ve been told that as long as I receive my diploma it should be fine but I cannot help but worry.
Did you talk to your guidance counselor/teachers about what was going on?
D’s may be problematic. Who told you that as long as you receive your diploma it should be fine?
Have you contacted McGill admissions to explain your situation? If not you or your GC should.
I read on a Reddit board, for what that’s worth, that somebody in a similar situation contacted McGill and the woman said that rescission has happened only about five times - for people who failed or dropped courses. It sounds REALLY rare.
