Will my new schedule have any effect on admissions?

<p>So my first semester schedule was...</p>

<p>AP Calc AB
AP Gov
Psychology
AP Stats
AP Lit
Human Anatomy HNS</p>

<p>The problem is that general psychology was only for 1st semester and I was suppose to be taking another psychology class for 2nd semester but my counselor just recently told me it was now only available for 6th. So the only classes left for 3rd I could take is Comp Beginners or Health (and I've already taken the latter), and my counselor told me up front that they were POS classes. </p>

<p>She said I could instead have a free period for 3rd. The problem is, I don't really trust my counselor because this is her first year. So I ask you guys: will not having a full schedule have any effect on UC admissions?</p>

<p>It should be absolutely fine. Your schedule is already filled with APs, one empty period isn't going to give you an automatic rejection. Loads of people, even ones with the highest GPAs take empty periods. Don't worry about it</p>
