I took my first SAT 1 in March and am going to take two SAT Subject tests this June. I really want to take the SAT 1 again, so I figured I would take it in October, which is only time I can take it now anyway. However, I'm worried that I won't be able to send my score to UVA in time for Early Action. Is this something to worry about? I know that College of William and Mary notifies students if there is something missing (i.e. SAT score) in their applications, and students can simply send in what they are missing. Does UVA do this as well?

Thanks!

Please read Dean Js blog post on this from last year in Notes From Peabody. The dates are slightly different as you’re dealing with 2013 test dates, not 2012, but the idea is the same. Read the entire blog, there’s important information in understanding how scores are sent, received, and the lag time.

As you’ll see, the October test date is fine only if you designate the scores be sent to UVa BEFORE you take the test.
