Will my SAT Subject Test Score get me rejected?

I just got my scores back today and got a 690 on Chemistry and 800 on Math II. How badly will the 690 hurt me? I prepared for 3 weeks and took AP Chemistry last year, but I guess the subject test was a but more difficult than I had expected. I am also in Higher Level IB Chemistry (if that counts for anything), but the current material doesn't exactly align with the subject test..

How will the 690 impact me?

It won’t get you rejected, and I doubt it’ll hurt you at all. Relax.

how did you do in Chem at school? did you take an AP exam?

You can still take it again, study a little more and if you are deferred you can still take it in January. That score may get you deferred but it won’t get you rejected. If you do get rejected, I guarantee that it it wasn’t because of that one test score. Good luck!

Thank you all! I’ll be sure to take it again if I am deferred

That 800 on math II is awesome. I agree with @rothstem, if rejected it is most likely not due to that one Chemistry score. Many well qualified students will be rejected due solely to the number of slots available. Good luck! Hope it all works out for you :)
