Will my UC application be forwarded to other UC's?

<p>I'm applying to UCB, UCLA, UCSD and UCSC. If I don't get accepted in any of them, will they forward the application to other campuses? Is there any requirements for this? BTW, I'm a California resident.</p>

<p>Please use your school counselors, they should be able to guide you through UC application and how to apply to different campus.

<p>If you’re a state resident who has met the minimum requirements and aren’t admitted to any UC campus to which you apply, you’ll be offered a spot at another campus if space is available, provided:</p>

<p>So, would you advise me to apply to the UC’s I want to apply to or pick a safety UC in case i don’t rank in the top 9%?</p>

<p>You should always pick a safety school. UC’s will not forward your application.</p>

<p>Last year only Merced considered students that did not apply(was a “referral” school). Last year Riverside explicitly said it would not. I agree you should use your counselor if you have one, but I would suggest you apply to the schools you would consider attending. Someone recently posted that this year, there would only be “guarenteedadmission” if the budget “allowed”. If true, that is a pretty scary change.</p>

<p>You need to apply to all the UCs you want admissions into like UCD, UCI, UCSB, UCR.
You need to pay for each application you click.
If you get rejected by each of the UCs you applied to, you MAY be offered a spot at UCM.
But with the economy still stifled, there may be more students applying to UCs this year.
Why don’t you give us your UC gpa, SAT/ACT scores, AP scores and your declared major.</p>

<p>My daughter never applied to UC Merced but her application was forwarded there and she also was granted a small scholarship($4K).</p>
