I got into UCLA with geography and environmental studies major as transfer student from Fall 2011.

Im currently taking 4 classes, and two of them I know I will get A or B, this spring semester will be last semester, but I will probably get C's on my Critical Thinking English course and Physical Geography class which is my major requirement.

What if i got C's in this semester my gpa will be 3.62 to 3.45-3.5...

Does anyone think I will be revoked from UCLA?

Please help me Im having finals next week...

here is my UCLA contract

Sincerely,

Maintain Academic Performance
Maintain the grade point average and complete the courses and number of units you reported in your application and in any subsequent course updates. You must be in good standing at your last institution of attendance. Also, if you attended another UC campus in regular session prior to enrollment at UCLA, you must have been in good standing when you left that UC campus. Notify our office immediately of any withdrawals, incomplete grades, drop in academic performance [including an excess of C grades or any D and F grades], or other changes to your class schedule. [See Contacting UCLA section.]

Complete Coursework Requirements
Complete the following course pattern by June 2011 with C grades or better: two [2] transferable courses in English composition; one [1] transferable course in mathematical concepts and quantitative reasoning; and four [4] transferable courses in at least two of the following subject areas: arts and humanities, social and behavioral sciences, and physical and biological sciences.

One C should be fine, but I’m not sure about two. It’d be nice if someone had known of someone getting two C’s in their last semester and their results.

“The provisional contract is intended to make sure that students maintain the same academic standards that they were accepted with. This means that your GPA should not dramatically decrease and your grades should not severely drop. Hence, you are expected to pass all your classes and not receive any D or F grades. Also, you should not receive more than 1 C grade. If a situation were to arise where the provisions of your contract cannot be met, then you should fill out a provisional problem form which can be found on our website.”

but transfer provisional form says

if students get 3 ore more Cs, they have to report.

Yeah, they mean 3.0 as in 3.0 for the last semester, not cumulative. You’d better call and notify them… things don’t look good for you otherwise.

I haven’t seen any threads seeing a rescinding after 3 C’s, but let us know what happens. Most rescind threads are people who dropped classes they said they were going to take or got below a C.

Three Cs and a 2.36 GPA for the last semester with two of the Cs being in the major you were admitted for will almost certainly put you in extreme jeopardy of being rescinded.

I was admitted into UCLA as a UC to UC transfer for fall 2011. I got in as a physiological science major. This spring I didn’t do as well as I hoped, but it wasn’t because I slacked off. I received two B’s; one being for organic chemistry 112b and one for physics 2c. I also received two C’s; one for biology 5c and a physics lab course (which I found is not required for my major). I have already contacted the university and let them know of my grades. When I updated my application after winter quarter, my GPA was around a 3.4 something. Now, it is around a 3.3. I know I’m borderline right now and it all depends on a case by case basis, but what are the odds my admission will be revoked? thanks for all the help.
