Hi everyone,
I got admitted to UCLA but I looked on my UC application and it lists two classes I had planned but ended up not getting into. I forgot to change them, so I think UCLA is under the impression that i'm taking these classes!
* all the classes I'm currently taking says "IP", but those two were "PL", so does that make any difference?
The two classes were Ethics and an arts/humanities class that I didn't need. In fact I didn't really need either of those classes, and they don't fulfill my IGETC or anything like that. I've completed all my pre-reqs already. Do you think they'll rescind me for that?

I feel so incredibly stupid that I never took those off of my planned classes. :-S Please let me know if you have any input regarding situations like this. Thank you so much in advance.

Not sure if satire :))
If you mean those two classes are put down as PL after you did it TAU, then it’s fine. Just let them know you never took it. I put sorry for the inconvenience at the end of my messages so they know I’m sincere.

hmm tough to say just cause its UCLA and they are very picky n all, but you seem to be fine as long as those classes arent necessary for anything like IGETC, major prep … ect but as you said it isnt so i think you should be fine. but i would call them on monday or tuesday to let them know that you never got into the classes and stuff and they will tell you what to do from there

@onehandedred, trust me this isn’t a satire. And I also put sorry for the inconvenience at the end of all my emails to teachers, reps, etc too! LOL.
@bookham, thank you, these classes are UC-transferable though so that’s why I was worried. I’m transferring without IGETC anyways.

Hahahaha…I’m in the same situation! I added a class I thought I was getting into, but didn’t! I’ve been kicking, spitting, and punching myself this entire weekend after realizing I got into my dream school.

Just let them know of any schedule changes by clicking on the tab to the left near your admission’s page. Then within the box tell them why, what happened, etc.

@BurntCorpse, I called them and they said they cannot guarantee that my admission won’t get rescinded. They said that they evaluated my application and took into consideration ALL the courses that I planned to take in the Spring. However when I pressed her, the lady said that usually if it isn’t a major pre-req, it’s not a problem but it goes case by case. God good i’m nervous.
