Will my UCSD admission get rescinded? PLEASE HELP

Hello guys. I'm a student from New Delhi, India and have been accepted to UCSD for this fall. My condition of admission is this : "A" Level students must pass at least 3 or more exams with "C" results or better. My grades are as follows: A1, A2, A2, B1,D1. That D is really worrying me as I was really ill that week and could not achieve a good grade. Will this lead to cancelation of my admission? Even though I think I've met the condition of admission ( by passing in 3 exams with C results or better) Thank you so much!

No. At most, they might send you a stern letter saying that you shouldn’t neglect your academics. Your other grades look good.

You’ll probably have to send in an explanation, if they ask you to. And you can promise that it was a one time thing and won’t happen.

Don’t fret.

What type of A Level grades are those?

Ppaayas

Umm I think he wrote the CBSE exam.

Yeah, those^. but cbse doesn’t give percentiles for 12th??

CBSE gives %age as well as grades i guess

Thanks a lot, Tizil!

Yes, CBSE. But my condition mentioned the A-LEVEL system so I’m confused. What do you guys think? Will my admission get revoked?

I would like to add that is if the ‘D’ is in a subject related to the field that you will be pursuing in college, in that case you should check with college regarding their policy about getting ‘C’ or better- is that applicable to any 3 or some specific 3 subjects. If the ‘D’ is in some second language or an elective, then I do not think you need to worry so much.

I doubt UCSD will care, especially since you are international.

Actually I doubt they would care even if you weren’t international.

One D will hardly make then reconsider their decision, especially if you provide them with evidence such as a doctor’s note or something.
