Throughout high school I didn’t really do much because I had a lot of family issues going on. Here are my ECs.
Leadership
-Secretary of non profit organization that gathers donations to build schools in rural and tribal parts of India. Volunteered over 100 hours for this. From April 2016-present
Volunteer service
-Volunteered in local hospital gift shop, over 80 hours. From June 2016-July 2017.
-Walk green walkathon in May 2016 and 2017
-Helped out during all days of Philadelphia Ganesh Festival each year for the past 3 years
Work Experience
-Internship in Biomedical engineering department at local hospital from June-August 2017
Clubs
-Indian Cultural Association from November 2015-present
-Mini-THON participant in April 2017
-Key Club (over 75 total hours by June 2017) from October 2016-present
-Hopefully starting up a badminton club in the fall this year
Awards
-Presidents award for educational excellence, June 2015
-Key Club inductee for reaching 25 hours by January 2017
-Perfect attendance Junior year
Overall, not much activity, I know. But will having such little ECs hurt my admission chances?
