Will new, lower ACT's affect my chances?

So I got a 30 on the ACT in October.
And then I took the ACT in December. And I got a 28.

You know how you get to send four colleges your ACT score, free of charge? Well, my top choice schools got the 28. Will that affect my chances in any way if they receive the score and see that my composite got lower after taking it again?

What do you mean they got the 28? Did you send the 28 to them?

Yes. They received the 28. Since it’s my most recent score, does it matter at all?

It depends on which score they accept right? If they accept the highest score then I don’t think you should worry but I could be wrong.

Why would you send them the 28? I would have just stuck with the 30. It probably wouldn’t matter because colleges choose your highest score anyways.

LOL I know pujiyhgttb3. You can automatically send your ACT scores to up to four choice colleges for free. So I put my choice colleges down, and I can’t change them at all. So I was just wondering.

I don’t know of any college that doesn’t use the highest score. Colleges know you can have an off day. You’ll be fine.

If you also sent the 30 score, they will use that score, @themagicalwizard‌

Are any of the sub section scores higher in the second tests?

That may help if the school super scores the ACT.
