I have a B in a class but it’s not a-g. Will UC’s look at it since it’s on my transcript.
You self report a-g courses and grades on the application. You don’t send a transcript until after acceptance and you decide to attend a school.
They will see your B when they get your transcript, but since it’s not one of the A-G’s so it’s ok. A good example is a B in PE. They won’t care.
What if it’s a class like intro to entrepeneurship. It’s academic but non a-g.
UCs look at your full transcript before making their final determination so, they ‘see’ every grade you received in high school. That said, even a D in a non-a-g course won’t upend your admission.
