My top choices are NYU, BU, and Northeastern. I have a 3.45 GPA UW (I know, kind of low due to freshman grade, but all As since sophomore.) I've taken 3 AP classes this year (junior) and sadly I didn't know the deadline here (outside the US) to ask for AP exams was March 14th, at 3pm specifically at the only school administering in my country. I was not able to sign up. It really brings me down... :( I really wanted to take those exams. In case of getting a good score at the SAT (2150+) can I still make it into one of those colleges?
Thank you

Knowing that you are able to take AP exams and that you did not capitalize on that opportunity may hurt you. Many students get into these schools without AP exams, but its because (1) their school did not offer it or (2) they had marvelous stats in other categories. Your GPA isn’t helping, but great test scores and EC’s will!

No big blunder committed. Hope everything turns out well! :D

AP’s are not required, thus will not hurt your chances. However, without real SAT scores, I can’t really chance you.

@manrushi my school doesn’t actually offer AP exams, but a school nearby does. I just had a hard time finding that school. I contacted the college board and they gave me the name of a school that doesn’t offer the exams either. That school gave me the name and number of another school, and when I called it was too late.

You’re getting the run-around. The deadline for the school to order the AP test is March 28th.

I’m not sure if it will hurt you but it sure won’t help
