My parents don’t want to pay the CSS fee for some of my schools (the ones that they know I wont attend even if I got in), so I was wondering if I would still get an admissions decision in April even if I don’t complete all the requirements on the Financial Aid application/process for that school? Thanks!
Smart parents!!
you can get accepted to schools where you don’t apply for financial aid…yes.
But make sure you are not going to change your mind once the acceptances start arriving.
so even if I indicated on my application that I was going to apply for finaid (but ended up not applying for finaid), they’ll still send me a decision regarding my admissions?
Yes. You can get an admissions decision if you don’t apply for financial aid.
The admissions people usually have no idea of whether you’ve applied for aid or not. Many people never apply for aid…even if they said that they would apply. No big deal.
Admissions decisions come from a different office.
ok! thanks!
