<p>I recently registered for the SAT and am taking it June 6th I am not taking the ACT, but aw where the same dealine applied for ther SAT subject tests as the SAT. I am wanting to get into UNC out of state, so do you think I should pay the late deadline and tek 1 or 2, or wait and take them the first chance I get next year? I am planning on applying early for college, so any advice or tips is tremendously appreicated. I need some help w/ this.</p>

<p>You cannot take the SAT and SAT subject tests on the same day (the subject tests are given at the same time of day as the SAT) so on June 6 you have to do one or the other and you obviously need the SAT for almost all colleges you might apply to. UNC requires the SAT or ACT; it only “considers” SAT IIs if you send them and majority who apply and are admitted there don’t submit them.</p>
<p>Yeah you must either take the SAT I or SAT II. If you’re only applying to UNC I wouldn’t worry about the SAT IIs - they aren’t required.</p>
