Will not taking the Toefl hurt my chances?

I've been studying for the past 4 years in a school where the primary language of intruction is english and I'm not taking the IB with english at SL A2.

My predicted grade for english will most likely be 7.

I haven't taken the sat yet but I will definetly get over 700 in CR.

You should know that I'm applying for top colleges including HYPSM and was curious if not taking the toefel will hurt my chances.

HYPS won’t ask for TOEFL if you studied at an intuition where the primary language of communication is English. Princeton doesn’t require TOEFL as far as I know while for Stanford it is recommended but not required.

MIT has 2 options: either SAT+SAT Subject test or TOEFL+SAT Subject Test so in case your SATs aren’t good you can send your TOEFL scores

TOEFL is a language proficiency test not an aptitude exam so a good score won’t be a plus to your application in any way.

However if you are applying to other schools make sure what their policy is. Some have cut off CR scores to waive it (Brown Cornell Amherst) while others waive it if you study at an english medium school and for some its a must.

If you get 700+ in cr you’ll ace toefl easily … any mistakes made will be accidental

thank you all for replying, you’ve clarified a few things

I personally believe that a good score on the CR section on the SAT is much more impressive that a near-perfect score on the TOEFL. Therefore, in my opinion, you should not send your TOEFL scores if they are not perfect. And even if they are perfect, they really do not matter so much.
