i head some people say oct. sat is usually the easiest while the nov. is hard, is that true? i've took one in May and felt it was harder, and i'm just wondering if the nov.'s would be the same?

yeah, some guys tell me that kind of info lol, i hope it is not true,though.>.< 'cos i will take SAT Nov

lol me too! lets just hope its not true.

Hells yeah, the October test was a cakewalk.

every SAT is a cakewalk.

^Yeah, definitely agreed.
There are much harder tests out there than the SAT 1.

it all the same. Different questions obviously, but it's your mind that is playing trciks on you from the rumors you hear.

Doesn't matter..

Standardized tests are light work. I can dodge bullets.

Well, considering that Halloween is the night before, I'd assume that many test takers will be testing tiredly. So the curve might be more generous.

On the other hand, you might be testing tiredly, which would screw you over.

^ the curve is set beforehand through a statistical process called "equating" and i was told this by my cousin who was a statistician for collegeboard for 2 years

^ Interesting. Wow I didn't know that.

The curve is not pre-determined (i.e., before the test is administered). The test is curved to adjust for the difficulty of the test. However, the only way the difficulty can be truly known is by comparing the performance of the people taking the test to that of previous test takers on identical questions.
