will nov. scores be considered even after confirmation?

so i just received a postcard confirming that my application has been processed for ED
so, does that mean that even if i send a november score report (after the 20th) it won't be considered since my applications been processed already? However, on my application i stated my intention of taking the november test. very confused. thanks in advance~

I believe that on the application, they said that October was the last testing date for ED.

Although they say October is the last guaranteed testing date, many people from previous years have had their november score reports arrive perfectly in time for ED. However this is NOT guaranteed and is pretty much hit and miss. But yes, they should take the scores into account assuming it comes in on time (even if you've already sent in the app)

so even if they processed everything, do they reprocess when they receive my nov. scores?

they would probably just tack it onto your application.

Processed just means they've printed your app. When they actually get around to evaluating it, they look at the latest score report from the Collegeboard (even if you didn't report it on your app). So as long as the score report gets there before they evaluate it, it will be fine. I'm not exactly sure, but I think they don't actually start evaluating for another few weeks.

whew~ thanks a lot (:

First, as stated on our standardized test requirements web site (<a href="http://apply.jhu.edu/apply/testreqs.html)%5B/url%5D">http://apply.jhu.edu/apply/testreqs.html)</a>, Johns Hopkins strongly recommended that Early Decision (ED) candidates complete their required tests no later than October of their senior year. We cannot guarantee that November scores will arrive before the Admissions Committee evaluation. Past experience does suggest that scores taken on these dates usually arrive in time. If the scores arrive before the evaluation then they will be considered with one's application.

Second, since the November SAT/SAT II exams were scheduled at the start of the month, we have confidence that the scores will arrive in time to be read for ED. You should A.SA.P. request the scores be sent directly to Hopkins using our College Board/ETS code: 5332. ((There is no need to rush scores as they don't arrive any earlier.))

Third, even if your application has been processed and passed to the Admissions counselors, additional items that arrive later will be added to your application file. We make sure before finalizing decisions that additional items be added to the review.

Fourth, we have already begun to read ED files.

Thanks for the official clarification AdmissionDan =)
