Will October SAT scores be factored in to admission?

considering the EA deadline is October 15.

From the UNC admissions website…

How late can I take the SAT?

We prefer that your testing be completed by November for first deadline or December for second deadline admission. If you have taken the October SAT or ACT and we haven’t received your scores by the first deadline, these scores may still be considered as part of your application. We expect the scores to be posted by mid-November.

If you do take the SAT in November, however, and you are applying for first-deadline admission, we will accept those test scores and they should be posted by mid-December. There is no need to have those scores rushed to us.

If your scores are not posted by the times stated above, please contact the Office of Undergraduate Admissions at (919) 966-3621. For the latest information about applying, please visit the Admissions Blog at the link below.

EA deadline is in October?
I thought the first deadline was Nov 2nd?

Yes, the EA deadline is definitely in November. I remember I applied for all my in-state schools on October 18th last year and I was a few weeks early for all of them.

On commonapp it shows for me: “University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill
Deadline: 10/15/2011”

On the UNC website it says Nov 1 so commonapp is wrong I guess
