Will one change in the senior year course affect my admissions decision?

I found out this afternoon that I was accepted into UIUC (yay!) as a biology major but there is one little problem. When I was applying to UIUC, I said that I was gonna take Honors US Government (which is a one-semester class taken second semester; people at my school take econ the first semester) but as it turns out, it didn't work with my schedule so I was forced to take regular government. I forgot to make the change in my myIllini account until I got my acceptance notification and as they explain it in the UIUC webpage, a change in your senior year courseload can be a major factor in changing admission decisions. Can someone give me any feedback on this? Will one class change from honors to regular which was beyond my control change the admissions office's mind about accepting me? I'm scared as sh*t right now...

I honestly doubt it. It’s not really a major change.

I also have this problem. I told them I was going to take Journalism but ended up taking P.E. It was either taking P.E. or dropping an AP for journalism. Hopefully it won´t affect my admissions to the CoB

Still, you should let the admission office know. You don’t want to have any surprise although I don’t see that as a problem. It may be more a problem if you are dropping AP Calculus while admitted into engineering.
